A perfect summer salad
I eat a salad almost everyday. Mario Knezovic called me the salad queen. I have made salads for famous chefs, friends and family around the world. A salad can be a meal if you add enough fat and protein. When making a dressing I think of fat, acid and salt this dressing has:
Ingredients:
Extra virgin organic olive oil
Tamari or soy sauce
a squeeze of Lemon
Fresh ground black pepper
Salad Ingredients:
Avocado
Butter lettuce
roasted corn-I buy organic frozen corn and roast it myself in a cast iron skillet.
roasted pumpkin seeds-I buy them raw and roast them myself in a cast iron skillet.
Pitted kalatmata olives
Marinated goat cheese
I add all the ingredients together and mix with my hands so that every bite is full of flavor.
